I have been creating art almost my entire life. Because of my curiosity and independence, I have worked in a variety of media and disciplines, including fine art, commercial and graphic design, photography, woodworking, and environmental consulting. Older siblings, generations of family, old masters, and the world around me have, and still, influence me. I am a very visual person, and I enjoy the creative process.
I think any and every endeavor can be art. It is a matter of application and approach. Practice, patience, and perseverance will foster the focus needed. Concentrated focus is a crucial ingredient. Another aspect is spending the time doing the work, in other words, practice, practice, practice.
